Christina Kim doesn’t like Bubba Watson

Bubba Watson went on a “charm offensive” this week at the French Open.  After missing the cut by a mile today, he basically did everything he could to reinforce the “ugly American” stereotype that many Europeans have.

, for one, was not impressed with his behavior and went on a twitter tirade against Watson:

Players on the LPGA spend quite a bit more time playing around the world than your typical PGA Tour player.  So I think Christina probably has some good perspective on what it takes to navigate foreign culture that Bubba doesn’t?

I’ve traveled all over the world, and honestly it doesn’t take that much effort to at least not look like a jackass.  I’ve managed to do it, and I wasn’t ever getting paid anywhere near $200k for the trip.  You don’t have to like every place you visit, but you need to at least make an effort to try new things and not come across as the “ugly American.”

Ironically, Christina pretty much lowered herself to Bubba’s level with these comments. What’s the purpose of making these comments is my question? To grab some of the spotlight? She’s just as much of an attention grabber as Bubba is.

I like Christina for the simple fact is she says what she feels and calls others out. I truly believe that Bubba ADHD has something to do with his actions in France. It’s a shame that the PGA is making him a poster child. PGA is desperate right now. With Tiger not playing and Phil only plays world golf Events and majors PgA needs new blood. Bubba has the character just no class

Christina probably hasn’t heard of tact. It is ok to say those type of comments to your friends and family in private areas. However, she as a high profile athlete needs to tone down her opinions when they are in public eye because she is role model for a lot of people and kids.
